In this interview Professor Guy Bogaert reviews interesting new insights concerning treatment with desmopressin, the improvement of sleep quality in bedwetting and the relationship between bedwetting and breathing/snoring. With regard to polyuria in adults, a different approach is necessary in elderly people who may have comorbidities. Professor Bogaert also talks about the incidence of monosymptomatic enuresis; these figures are related to people’s awareness of the problem which is often inadequate.
